Biography

I am a painter living between New York City and Mexico City.  I paint with acrylics on canvas, use lots of color, pay attention to detail and enjoy coming close to realism but attempt to retain a painterly technique in my brushstrokes.  My most recent work involves my inspiration living in Mexico.  These paintings include symbolism from Mexican culture that I’ve drawn from both my experiences and listening to the stories of people I have met in Mexico.  I am heavily influenced by the music and art I am exposed to and actively seek experimental approaches to both arts.
